There's PLENTY of places to PM the camera with. You can get a much better deal. Granted Staples is getting harder to PM with, but just go to pricewatch or pricegrabber & find a few there to PM.

you can pricematch the camera but Staples will factor in the "free zip drive" into the pricematch price, so if camera is $250 at another site they add $99 for the "free" zip dirve they are giving you, price = $350 pricematch. go here for Olympus Z460 for $250, no pricematch bs.

Or- buy it from staples with the PM, forget about the zip when you place the order, and then get the zip at a B&M store afterwards (as long as you get it by Sat.)

You don't have the option to "forget about the zip" with pricematch, Staples tells you they automatically add in price of any "free" add ins. Getting the free zip is not an option, it's automatically added in with pricematch.

Forget about pricematch, just buy it with your American Express Blue card and request for a adjustment to match the lower price. Did it b4 and all you have to do is call the AX number on the card and tell them u found a better price, they'll tell u to printout the page of the site where u have the better price and send it in.

Instead of crediting your account, they send me a check for the difference. I get the check I think like 4 - 5 weeks after I mail in the lower price ad. Faster than most rebate.

I just did this on TWO of these cameras on Sunday. They price matched at $249 - didn't charge shipping - then threw in the 100 MB drives free. And were glad to make the sale.

You guys are so negative about what a B&M store will do. Being told "no" never hurt anyone. Get some backbone and just try it. You might be happily surprised at the results.

I just got my camera, and I call Staples CSR to pricematch,
the total came out to be $230 including tax.

I believe existing Amex Student Card holders are being changed to Amex Blue gradually.
Ummm I was looking for the D490 at first...Staples do not have them on their site.

Should I settle with D460 instead?
BTW, D490 will be selling for $349 at BB this sunday.
