Thanks for the hottest deal I've gotten this year so far (missed the $9 CC 120GB by a few minutes! ). I was able to use the $50 off $250 when I ordered just past midnight on 4/27:

+ WD HDD @ $179.99
+ 2.4GHz phone @ $69.99
+ Hanging folders @ $3.99 (filler plus needed this anyway)
- $50 of $250
+ CA tax on 203.97
- WD HDD price adjust ($20+10+tax)
- 2.4GHz phone price adjust ($40+tax)
- $80 MIR
- $20 MIR
Total = $45.02 including taxes! Everything arrived in 3 days, and the HDD was the 8MB edition.

Based on the above, if you were allowed to keep your "$50 off $250" coupon, you got VERY lucky. With the items you've listed above, your total AFTER PM is:

WD HDD @ $149.99 + 2.4Ghz Phone @ $29.99 + Hanging Folders @ $3.99 = $163.97

...which clearly doesn't meet the terms of a "$50 off $250" coupon.

I got lucky - I got the full deal (including $30/off) on the SE version at my local B&M. I have 2 questions about the rebate I'm hoping someone can answer:

1) The online form at rebatesHQ lists what seems to be conflicting info. In the Promo Details section it intructs you to send the capacity label (no mention of UPC) and the receipt. In the Instructions section, it says to send the UPC (no mention of Cap Label) and receipt. I guess the easy answer is to send all 3, but wondering if anyone has clarification.

2) Will the price on the receipt matter? The CR took the $30 off $150 and the IR off the top, meaning the initial price shows up as 119.99 (the initial price of $159, the $10IR, and the $30 coupon are not reflected on the receipt). I'm planning to make a note of this on the receipt, but wondering if others have advice or if sale price even factors in to rebates.

fishhawk, I tried Sioux Falls SD, Fargo ND, Deluth MN (Fargo Area), Des Moines Iowa, and Aberdeen SD. They were all out of them, so I just gave up.

Picked up the WD 120GB SE version here in Vegas last night for $40 AR. Manager at the Rainbow store was very cool. Let me get the SE version, even though they still had the 2MB versions left....let me use the $30 of $150 online coupon without a second thought. When the drive intially rang up for $179 he quickly adjsted it to $149. About the coolest store manager I have ever dealt with.....as opposed to the absolute bitch of a manager running the new Office Max up 95 near the Wal Mart supercenter.

Is anybody happen still having a copy a the rebate form for $80 rebate for 120Gb WD 3 days only at office Max(4/24-4/26). If yes could you share with me cause I couldn't find it anywhere. I was so busy last week and now I'm out of luck .

TO the best of my knowledge, there's no OFF-LINE version of this rebate form. It was only available @ www.rebatesHQ.com, and the on-line rebate offer was updated to reflect the ADVERTISED SALES PERIOD. If you didn't process an on-line rebate form during the UNADVERTISED SALES PERIOD, I suggest you take a copy of your OMAX.COM on-line sales receipt, save it to a file, tweak the ORDER DATE (so that it's between 4/27 - 5/3), and use that as your receipt for the AVAILABLE REBATE FORM.

Here in Houston, TX, I printed out the 1st page pointed to by a link I found. It did not have a code number, just the details. I took it and gave it to the sales guy who took it to the mgr. He came back and said she (the mgr) would honor it, although she does not normally. The clerk knew how to put it in without the code, very helpful. I asked for and got the special edition, 8 meg. Good luck!
