Check my post up above, dude. Get more original receipts by calling their help number... They're sending me 7 additional original receipts, set to come with my order.

To everybody who's reporting strange happenings w/ their orders on the OMAX.COM web-site...

During a phone conversation I had w/ an OMAX.COM CSR today, I received confirmation that the OMAX.COM web-site is having problems today which are being worked on by OMAX CORPORATE (more likely OMAX IT). Give OMAX CORPORATE some time to get their web-site fixed.

If by end of business TOMORROW (i.e. MONDAY) your orders are still "missing," call up OMAX at that point. Until then, give them some breathing room.

Man diggler, that is some serious good work. Lazy people like myself marvel at your uncanny ability to do tedious things for others. Muchos Props.

The FAR DDR and CD-R/RW is gone, sadly. Those are the only other things I was interested in.
Awesome post, quick question though:
for the life of me, I can't find a $25 off $100 coupon, search google and FW, yet I have no hits on non-expired ones. Would someone please remove my head from the sand and point me in a direction that it can be found.

The one which was set to expire 5/10/2003 has expired early. As a result, there doesn't appear to be a valid "$25 off $100" coupon.

That said, if you can order the CD-RW & DDR RAM (which totals $110) BY PHONE, there's a few other options:
1) Add an additional $40 worth of FAR crap & use a "$30 off $150" cpn
2) Add an additional $15 worth of FAR crap & use a new "$15 off $125" cpn

To everybody who ordered the Kingston DDR Ram, I've got a small request of you:

Please send an e-mail to Parago (i.e. www.rebatesHQ.com) at rebates@parago.com asking them to post the two Kingston rebate offers on-line.

Please attach the following TWO (2) PDF documents to your e-mail as well:
1) MFR Rebate Form (Offer #03-55058)
2) OMAX Rebate Form (Offer #03-56858)

NOTE 1: Please do not simply include links to the PDF files above. Please include them as ACTUAL E-MAIL ATTACHMENTS. (You may do BOTH if you prefer)

NOTE 2: Please clearly instruct Parago to view the ATTACHED FILES in the e-mail body (and again in a "P.S." section).

NOTE 3: It may be helpful to list the specific OFFER #'s you want posted (although really they should post ALL THE OFFERS in both PDF documents).

If enough of us e-mail this request to Parago, hopefully the FW & AT effect will cause them to get their act together.

Thanks!
Diggler

*EDIT* It was pointed out to me at FW that the OMAX MIR is already available on-line at this URL. Thus, please e-mail Parago about the MFR rebate offer only. Thanks!

Will, do I hate filling out all that sh!t on paper. Plus I find that it is faster if I fill it out online, print out the confirmation page and mail in my proof.

Don't know, but if you can't find 'em, e-mail the respective rebate companies. Feel free to post a similar such request of others (in here) for any item's rebate(s) you can't find on-line.

FYI, the FAR Khypermedia 48x CD-RW is accessible on-line again; however, it's only available in limited markets (I have no idea which markets though). The OP has been updated (w/ the removal of the SAD FACE).

TODAY IS THE LAST TODAY OF THE FAR OFFER for the aformentioned Khypermedia CD-RW!

I didn't see this thread but I did send them an email yesterday asking about the Manuf. rebate offer #03-55058 for Kingston memory. I did a search on their site for Kingston and got 11 rebates, all expired. Search again this morning and got 24 rebates, all expired also.
They replied to me on the same day:
Dear XXXXX:

Thank you for your interest in our product. Unfortunately, we
do not have this rebate listed online on our website. We suggest
you to please mail in all the required documents to the address
mentioned on the rebate coupon.

For your records, be sure to make a copy of your submission before
placing it in the mail.

We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your participation
in this promotion. If there is anything else we can do to assist
you, please contact us at rebates@parago.com. We are always happy
to help.

That's Parago's way of saying "since we can't find the offer on-line, it probably doesn't exist. In the event you send us an OFF-LINE rebate form, then we'll believe you." By attaching the OFF-LINE PDF document to your e-mail request, you're proving to them that the rebate offer you're asking to have added ON-LINE is a genuine Parago handled rebate offer.

P.S. Off topic a bit, but... The 80 GIG WD HDD that's showing up on-line is now the SPECIAL EDITION "8 meg cache/3yr warranty" model!

Was able to order that and the WD hard drive online and then use a 30 off 150 coupon. that makes the burner free and the harddrive like $20 excluding tax.

A quick question about the Kingston DDR: Isn't this supposed to come in cardboard packaging with a UPC symbol on it (UPC needed for rebate)? I've bought Kingston before, and it was packaged in such a manner. However, I got my order in today and the Kingston stick is only packaged in the plastic memory holder with the Kingston label on it. The label DOES have a UPC on it, but I'm fairly certain that this is not the one that I'm supposed to send in for the rebate.

On another note (one that pushes this messages towards the brag&moan thread), OfficeMax screwed up and sent me a 50-pack of CD-RW discs instead of a 5-pack of DVD jewel cases that I ordered. The blanks are only 1-4x, so I'm trying to decide if I'm gonna get the ordered fixed of just keep these.

My Kingston ValueRAM was also only packaged in a plastic memory holder, and I'm submitting the rebate w/ the UPC code on the plastic packaging. Others at FW have reported that they too receive their RAM in plastic packaging only. Submit what you've been provided.

The WD HD is $59.99 after rebates. No matter how many FAR items you added to your order to reach $150, $59.99 - $30 cpn = $29.99, or $30. Of course once you factor in sales tax on $150 of merchandise plus postage for the various rebates you'll need to mail in, tack on at least another $10-$15. Thus, it looks to me like you got your HD, Burner, etc. for $30 + TAX & POSTAGE ($10-$15) = $40 - $45. Still not a bad deal, but certainly not a $20 HD deal.

Or you could just order the HD w/ enough FAR stuff to get to $250 & use the $50 off coupon to get the drive for $10 like I did They didn't charge me tax btw - who knows why

Thanks Diggler & Friends!

Thanks Diggler & Friends!

Didn't have $250 to spend. They charged me 8 something for tax but shipping was free.

OM has a May rebate booklet. It has all of the rebates that go into effect at different dates throughout May. Go to OM and pick one up. That way, you watch to see what's coming.
