If filling out a bunch of rebate forms doesn't bother you, I've posted a couple of more deals in the OP.

Deal #2: Make $20 on a giant grab-bag-o-crap
Deal #3: Get the WD 80 gig HDD for $20 AR based on the $20 profit of deal #2 and a larger discount cpn.

Two EXTERNAL USB2.0 CD-RW's have been added to the OP for $49.99 AR ($109.99 before rebates):
1) I/O Magic 48x16x48x
2) Cendyne 48x12x48x

Although the Cendyne's a slightly slower drive (on the RE-WRITE speed), the I/O Magic drive (which has the incorrect MFR REBATE FORM linked at the moment) will likely involve a true I/O MAGIC MFR REBATE FORM. I/O Magic / Hi-Val rebates are IMO the absolute worst rebates to deal with, PERIOD! They take forever, and a majority of the time you have to RESUBMIT your rebate info to get paid. I personally will never buy another I/O Magic / Hi-Val product involving a MFR REBATE.

P.S. You can get either of the drives listed above for ~$20 AR/AC by adding ~$40 of FAR items and applying a $30 off $150 web cpn.

Officemax drone news:

I'm not sure if this is a regional thing, but the cendyne DVD+RW drive shows up as $229.99 as the price in the system at my store as of june 10th, and it still has the $40 instant rebate listed on top of that. So the deal for that drive @BM would be :

$229.99 - 40 IR - 30 OM Mail-in - 30 MFR Mail-in = $129.99

Like I said, it might be a regional thing but for those in Arizona it's a tidy little bonus.
Cheers.

Nice! I just looked on the website. I guess they don't have the new link up yet.

Sorry about that and thanks, TheDiggler!

It says it's good when the RAM was purchased from 6/1 to 7/5!
the one linked at the top says 7/6 - 7/19
Actually, geek0rama's post alerted me to the fact that OMAX has the incorrect rebate form linked on-line at the Kingston Ram OMAX product page. They're referencing the old JUNE (2003_06) PDF file while my OP is referencing the current July (2003_07) PDF file. Maybe OMAX should hire me to do their web-links!

The Kingston memory became available on the website and I was able to add enough other free and cheap stuff to get to $25 off $125. A couple free items are no longer available online, and if you did the Tapli pens before, it's the same rebate so couldn't use that. At least all but two of the phones are still available. So the non-free stuff worked out to:

$10 net on the Kingston
$2 net on the Fuji 30-pack CDR
$5 for a ream of paper

With $25 off, that's 25-17 = -$8 on the purchase + $4.50 in tax = -$3.50 for all this stuff.

Nice writeup, thanks Mr. Diggler!

Bought two Cendyne DVD+ burners. One is model NEC-1100A and the other is ND-1100A. Does anyone know the difference between these two NEC drives?

I have to agree that Hi-Val is the worst for rebates. I also never received an I/O Magic rebate on an external CD-RW, even after a resubmission. And I've never gotten a Western Digital rebate without having to resubmit it. This should be interresting for me since I bought the WD HD this week, and the I/O Magic external CD-RW last week

I got in on the WD 80GB drive with $30 +$10 rebates and the Kingston DDR memory with $20 + $10 rebates and added the $25 off $100 coupon. Total should be $$ 124 - 30 - 10 - 20 - 10 = 54 when it's all said and done.

However, the July PCash1.pdf file has an asterick ( * ) only next to items that can have a copy of the UPC sent. Called OM today and they're requiring the original UPC on the Western Digital 80GB drive for the $10 rebate. So how can I send for the OM $10 rebate and the $30 WD rebate?

Do I send the capacity label to one (as in the picture) and the barcode to the other?

They're both going to RebatesHQ but to different mailboxes...

I just sent a copy of the UPC for the $10 MIR. I'm sure it will be fine. If not all you gotta do is tell them they messed up because MFR needs the original UPC for the $30 MIR. End of story.
