If you guys want to get in on this deal, I believe today may be the last day of the $98.87 Wal-Mart Toshiba HD-A2 deal. (That's assuming your Wal-Mart has any left of course. It should be noted though that a couple of stores claimed they were getting more stock in. YMMV.)

Yes. We all know it's retarded. However, the point of the posts is that it's not Toshiba's fault. They just happen to respect the rules that exist... They have no control over this.

I got this deal at Wallysfart last night about 11:30 pm. I bought the last one at my store. I called about 2 pm and asked them if they had anymore, they said no. :thumbsdown:

So I went up there anyhow, and lo and behold, there one was. It included the HDMI cable in the box. :thumbsup:

Also, it is listed as the HD-A2C!!! So the OP really should change his topic a bit. It is possible they tell people they don't have it in stock, if they are not adding the C into their search in the store on the computer.

At my wallofmarts they only got 5 of these units in for sale, too. :frown:

And I found 3 of the $14.96 HD-DVDs. 2 were stocked in the hanging racks next to the HD-DVDs for those looking for them, they did not have a regular space for some of these titles. I got "The last Samurai", "The big Lewbowski" and "Unforgiven". I did not see the "12 Monkeys" which figures, it was the one I wanted the most! These were previously listed at $18.98. So, if you are not sure what is on sale, take a handful of these priced ones to the scanners and look.

I stated on Friday that my WM wouldn't sell at this price; I went by today and they had about 5 of them left; I talked with a manager and he agreed to let me have it at the $98 price.

So I'm happy again!

I went by walmart today, and they still had some (~12) priced at $98.87. I am wondering if the price is permanent since they are not selling as well without giving away instant free HD DVD's like BB and CC. I would definitely try to pricematch at CC and see if you can get the 3 instant and 5 mail-in too.
