i know this issue has been posted on numerous times, but I guess i'm the first.

well, i'd get a job, but i'm trying to take #1 in my class, so i'm pretty much stuck in school.

my parents aren't _rich_ or anything, and I know they already having a hard time paying the bills.

So, I talk to the Comcast representative, and they're going to raise the price (because we don't have cable TV, from 42 to 56 dollars including a huge discount because I managed to get my own cable modem. What the fsck????!!!!!!

GG!!! because of these fscking bastards, i'm not going to have anymore fscking internet.

I do NOT have DSL available in my area, so i might have to stick to 56k!!!!!!

I've been dependent on the internet because Carson sucks when it comes to resources (library is a joke). Those motherfsckers, stupid industry is ruining my life.

Am I missing something? It's only 14 bucks. I could pick that up in pennies on the ground if I decided to.

The #1 in my graduating class last year had a job - why can't you? Lazy bum.

Uh, hello? Not like your students are equal to mine. Our class is extremely competitive and I'm going to class every other day along with tutoring on the days I do NOT go to class. I told you, IF i had a chance, i'd take one, i'm not competely stupid when it comes to things like that.

You don't have class every day? WTH? You're in high school, right? Get a damn job. Four hours a week will take care of your 'extravagant' cable bill, and will give you enough money left over to have some fun with your friends on the weekends.

I'm in college (16 credits) and I've got a 4-hour a week job. It's not tough - I work Friday nights from 6-10 p.m.

You could make $14 a month easily....couple examples are:

Mow a few lawns
Babysit

Both are realtively easy, but i'd prefer lawn mowing since that consumes less time and pay is higher compared to the time invovled with baby sitting.

I agree. I worked almost 40 hours a week during high school, not to mention I had a high enough GPA to recieve a full paid scholarship for college.

i take too many classes (i'm not studying for the regular hs amount) i have 4 college type classes where theres A LOT of work. and one actual class in college, along with math tutoring for extracurricular, i love teaching math. (read up, its not only the class i have problems with)

btw: 7 in all, not 6, 5 college classes, rest is just easy sh!t. math tutoring takes up time during most of the day along with the college class i have at night.

i had AP computers, AP Econ, AP English, and pottery & ceramics my high school senior year. . .

AND i worked for 3 hours every other night being a telemarketer. . .its all about time management. . .something i feel you need to work on quite a bit. . .

How often do you tutor? couple times a week? can you charge like $2 a session? That's all you'd need to get $14.
