Everybody falls.

I have never been in love, and I'm doing a-ok. So my vote is for never.

guess I could carry around: patch cable, crossover cable, serial cables (9 and 25 pin), hub, switch, etc. But what's the point?

I only have a crossover cable...I need more gadgets to carry around!

Well, running two different hardware setups on two different systems with another setup on another system sitting 2 feet away from me which I need to reformat the HD and do a fresh install of the OS. So that leave me with 3 different hardware setups with 3 different systems. That count?

It all depends...are any of these OSs by any chance a flavor of Linux or Unix?

I'm in a room with no less than 13 computers, 5 televisions, ~20 monitors (4 for me!), probably a dozen computers not in operations, 3 different computer architectures, and enough hard drive space to host a big porn site.

Yes yes, I'm young

Don't get me wrong, I have known the extremes. Which is why I know how lucky I am now to be in the situation that I am in. Granted, I have never "fallen" but there are other emotions to feel then just that. You mentioned life and death, obvisiously I have never experienced death, but I have experienced what it's like to lose someone extremely close to you. I have often been told that I am older then my age because of what I have been through. Not sure whether to take that as a compliment or not but I feel that I have lived. Maybe not enough compared to anyone else here but I have years upon years to go through such experiences.

Think I should stop there before I get too serious...ok now where were we?

Oh yeah...

Ayup, pretty much the same setup.

Running Open and FreeBSD, i would prefer Open on all boxes but for NFS Free is fvcking fast, Arch on one and still Slack on one.

I have no real urge to change anything but i would like to vary myself, i am thinking of giving Debian another shot.

I'd like the monitors. Most of the x86 machines in here are Dell (blah). The tvs are ok, but not spectacular. The Sun machines are old ultras, and I've got a couple of those. And I don't want to pay the electricity bill.
