This reminds me of two stories here is the first:

I was at my friends birthday party and one of the things he had recieved from one of his friends was this cheapish jet lighter. Since everyone was playing around with it I decided to take the liberty to fill it with the can of butane. I held the lighter upside down in my hand and my hand was shaped into a fist with my thumb being towards the top. So once I had it filled I went in the kitchen where everybody was and lit it. VOOOSH!! lighter fluid was all over my hand and it burst into flames. I screamed like a little girl and tossed it on the ground. The fire went out and there were no injuries. Just a lot of people laughing there ass off as I freaked the fvck out from this thing.

And here is the second:

I was at my cousins house after I just picked up this patato gun that I got from a garage sale. We sprayed some hair spray in it but didnt put the patato in it just to test it out. I spun the little thing and nothing happened. So my cousin is like "let me see this" and proceeds to flick the little sparker, nothing happens. Then he put the barrel to his face and flicked it. POOMF! It went off right in his face. There was a nice circle of black soot that covered almso his whole face. Only the edges of his eyebrows that were not directly exposed to the blast were intact. I never laughed so hard in my life.

everybody that knows me and smokes know that i like to crack out my lighters (making the flame at least 4 inches high). once they know they use my lighters very carefully. one day my friend / coworker needs a light during her smoke break and the only person there with a light was me so she borrows my lighter to go smoke. she comes back 10 mins later after finishing her cig screaming and yelling at me. come to find out she forgot that my lighter is cracked out and burned off half of her left eyebrow. we been calling her lefty everyday after that.

hey nik its not as bad as having the flame burn your nose hairs. that happens to me every time its windy and use my zippo. the burnt hair smell stays around for a while. :| : me shakes fist at the wind:

Don't feal so bad. in college, I couldn't get hte damn potatoe gun to fire (using a spark lighter like those in gas grills).

I undcap the thing. Put my head about a foot away and click.... Cinged eye brows.
