OMG HALP.. Laundry.. OMG

So.... did the laundry for the first time because I wanted to wear something I already wore yesturday....

Now all my tee-shirts are covered with "fuzzy-stuff". my mom's sweater might not fit her anymore, and my dad's pants have white detergent streaks.

OMG,,, D:I 'm sooo not getting that computer upgrade...D:

EDIT: HOW DO I FIX THIS??????????????????? Rewash????

Usually there are instructions on the machine and the detergent bottle.

"Fuzzy stuff" is cause when you don't use bleach. Rewash asap with a couple cups of bleach and it should hopefully come off.

And each piece of clothing has wash/dry instructions on the tag.

Unless you sweated profusely in those clothes the other day you could have just done the smell test an got by for another day. Usually they can go for a full week before there is a dire need to wash them.

I just always wash everything on Cold and Delicates. Then just throw everything in one load.

I did too, but then I watched an exposé where they analyzed the bacteria/virus/etc. count on clothes before washing and after washing with cold water-- guess which had more...

I am not too young to follow instructions. I AM NOT 12 as indicated.
I've just never had to do laundry. I have never seen my parents seperate cloths or put in special liquid etc.. 'and everything always came out fine.


Is this a Dryer problem or the Washing problem.

Soap is ineffective at killing a lot of types of microorganisms unless it's coupled with high temperature.
