Linkage Crap OOS on line must get it now at your local retailer.
Thats half off. It is on line and in store! If you go to the store they are giving you the battery and charger at no extra cost! Been wanting one of these for the longest time and bought two at this price so my son and I can play together in the back yard.
I have one in my hand and it is freaking huge! Belt driven with an actual Gates belt driving the rear wheel. Front and rear shocks and not no skimpy thing either, some real shocks. About to go give it a test spin and I will give my opinion on how it handles and takes jumps in a few minutes
Ha hours
EDIT Ok let me start of by saying I am big time into RC since I was about 8 years old (now 33). I have owned almost everything, cars, trucks, electric, nitro, boats, and air planes and this is my first mortorcycle. This thing for what I paid I would of paid retail and then some for it, If it wasnt for the damn bugs biting me and my 2 boys we would of stayed out there for all 10 packs of 7.2 volt batteries I have. It handles like nothing I have driven before. I got it on a small bump in my yard and did a wheelie. I jumped it, ran it into my youngest, I slamed it into a tree (twice), a pole, and a concrete ramp and it did nothing to it at all! It handles just like a real motorcycle, leans into turns and you/I really have to work on the handling since it doesnt handle like no other I've owned. All in all I am buying 2 more of these suckers and putting them away incase these brake. They have spare parts but who knows for how long. As for speed id say a good 15-20 MPH wouldnt be off if on flat pavement and in a straigfht line. Back yard in short grass bouncing all over the place jumping and doing wheelies 10-15 MPH.
It is very well built with 2 shocks in the front and one very massive one for the rear. A real Gates belt drives the rear wheel. Has a servo saver for the front and the front and rear has berrings so it wont wear out. The instructions say you can jump it off something no higher then 8 inches (I will find out tomorrow) and explaines how to make it do tricks and get back up if it should stop dead in its tracks.
4 aa batteries go up on top under the riders ass and a 7.2v pack goes into the bottom. Transmitter takes just one 9 volt. I reccomend buying more batteries at tower hobbies and a battery charger. The one they give you is junk and takes 8 hours to charge up. Get one from towers like I have called Intellipeek twin pulse charger. Charges 2 batteries at the same time for less time down and its all fully automatic. I was running my Epic 3000 NIMH in it ($14.99 each at tower right now) and they lasted a good 10 minutes in the bike. NICD batteries at tower can be had for under $8 for back yard bashing so DONT waste your money buying them at Radio Shack or wal-mart.
All in all if you want to have some real fun with something tottaly different and not break the bank doing it this is perfect and I really am going to get 2 more of these they are well worth it IMO.
