OMG I am so sick of Rob Lowes Direct TV commercials

My DTV will go out a couple times a month during spring/summer because of a storm. If there was a way to watch the Broncos on my TV without having DTV I'd drop them in a heartbeat.

I guess that's the advantage of the mild Oregon weather.

Well that didn't take long... just cancelled. They increased the price again (or a credit expired, whatever they want to call it) and it's not worth it. I'll do without for now, and if I really want cable again I'll just go comcast.

Commercials have no effect on the choices of what I choose to buy. At best they are occasionally entertaining. I would rate the Rob Lowe commercials up there with Skittles ones from the past couple years. Geico and Progressive clearly have the longevity and occasional awesome bit.

Creepy Rob Lowe is the best. Meathead Rob Lowe is good, but a little too easy. It's like cable Rob Lowe for the masses. Not as cool you know.

As soon as I read that this was something done by the BBB, I knew it was BS.

The BBB is like the scrawny hall way monitor that silently murmurs "get back to class" after the seniors have already finished smoking in the hallway.

The fact that the Rob Lowe commercials stopped was purely incidental. Notice the article uses the word 'recommend'.
