Now there's 2 of these here. Hey, guess what folks...people screw up. Unlike you ATi is not perfect. They are a small company trying to survive & give nVidia some competition and the more you trash them in public forums where people are trying to learn, the more of a facist you portray yourself to be.

Welcome competition and embrace it for without it we would all still be paying $700 for the 7800GTX and there wouldn't be a $200 card that overclocks to X850 speeds.

I'm still allowed to be frustrated at a company that launches vapor, and to voice my opinion, as is everyone else. I'm just tired of waiting for these "amazing products" ATI has been working on. I know this wasn't directed at me, but I just thought I'd share

BTW, that GTO2 -> X850XT is SWEET. I swore I would not spend another dime the rest of this year so I could continue putting food on my table, but...only $200...and I miss the power of my old unlocked 6800NU...must not buy...

The GTO2 to x850xt is sweet, I will admit that as well.

But you are pissing into the wind if you think posting about how we should give ATI a break here in these forums. We all spend big bucks on our PC's, and get frustrated when a company can't deliver on its promises. They deserve the berating, if for no other reason than getting their crap together in the future becomes a much higher priority....

And ATI is not too far behind in gpu performance, it will catch up sooner or later.

X800GTO^2 for $200 is cutting into their current high end card sales. That card is basically hurting them just as much as the paper launches and no-shows are. Nvidia is sellin off their 7800GT/Xs with no competition whatsoever and here ATi has a mid-end card taking sales away from their X850 series. They've royally fvckt up in all facets this quarter.

yeh, it is a myth people believe. ATI is going to power the next XBOX and Nintendo system even as it struggles with delivering pc GPUs in time

If I am not mistaken the 7800GTX is selling For just over $450 with nothing but competition from other Nvidia providers. Even a monopoly is controlled by supply vs. demand. I would be more worried about the loss of technilogical advances then the Cost of a video card since even with competition they have been pricing their cards at nearly he same price.

Don't fear OP. If ATI is truly being run into the groud by bad management, you can bet the Chinese will swoop in and buy the company and make it better than it ever was. Big Chinese corporations are always looking for "Name Brand Recognized" companies.

So ATI will live on no matter what. Even if it means a corporate restructure and/or takeover.
