Aww, how kind of you? Why thank you lucifer, I hope you post more things like this to come! Saving me time in that I don't have to post the same ******. Yes I believe iTunes is a POS excuse for a music management and playing software. Just because you have 1GB of ram available, doesn't mean it needs 256MB of ram to organize your music, or 192MB to play back your music.. In case you didn't realize, I like to listen to my music in the background while playing games. And because my ram is very expensive because it's high speed, I cannot purchased more ram unless I invest a hefty amount of money into my rig which I'm still not sure would be very wise nowadays.

You don't buy mp3s... you buy aac files. I think a lot of mp3 players also play aac files.

I think a lot of modern apps are a complete waste. The old stuff did everything it needed to. The new stuff just takes a LOT more system resources, "looks" prettier, and includes a whole bunch of junk you'll never use and have to turn off.
That goes for Office, Nero, Adobe Reader (FoxIt FTW!), most MP3 programs, and pretty much anything that comes on a new PC.
