I've been driving on this highway (route3) forever and the majority of the drivers go at least 70mph on all 3 lanes. So I didn't even consider him pulling me over. The police office was going at least 66-67 and pulled me over so he was also technically over the speed limit. The only reason IMO, he pulled me over was that it was an easy citation for him because people drive 80mph+ on the fast lane...
My question is, what are my chances of reducing the citation fee?
Note: This is my first speeding ticket ever and I got my license in 2000 in Massachusetts.
1) Go to traffic court on your assigned date and time
2) Be sure to have your insurance card, driver's license and registration
3) Wait until judge calls your name
4) Approach bench and answer judge's questions respectfully
5) Hope judge dismisses ticket
6) If judge doesn't dismiss, take traffic school and leave
