I've had to face this issue a few times. With some pimpin' shoes you could take the attention away from the height difference and look like the mac daddy at the same time. Think Austin Powers in GoldMember... Yeah, there are other issues with that, but, heh, why not have some fun w/ it.

Seriously, it' s a tough issue to deal with, easier said than done. I wish you the best.
