I've got a new structure for the company website ready to go and finally got the OK from upper management to roll it out this morning. What happens? I ran upstairs to the server room to archive the current site. I basically copied the entire site's folder to another folder elsewhere on the system (RH9). What I didn't realize is that I was still in the site folder when I was copying files, so when I deleted the entire contents of the folder, the archive went out the window too.
Okay, I thought, I'll just undelete the archive. I checked the file system --CRAP. It's EXT3. I can't undelete.

Good thing I have the new site structure saved on my laptop. I copied it to CD and ran it upstairs and now I'm working on rebuilding the content for each page manually.
The good thing is that I should be able to get all but two pages rebuilt with proper content from google's cache. God I love Google.
Cliff's notes:
1) New site approved! Yay!
2) Deleted the old site AND the old site's archive! DOH!
3) Used backup of new site from laptop
4) Google cache saved my ass!
