Bingo.
Want to impress? Check this out.
Do you know how to pan-fry a hamburger? God, at least hopefully you can do that!
Go buy (you do have some money, right?)
1. 4 porkchops
2. Bottle of Lea & Perrins Worchestershire Sauce (yes, you need the brand name)
3. Bottle of seasoning salt
4. Bottle of black pepper
5. Package of frozen corn on the cob. Green Giant makes a bag called "Little Nibblers"
Make sure porkchops are defrosted. Put four porkchops in single layer in baking dish. Take fork and make a million holes in the pork chops.
Season lightly on both sides w/the seasoning salt and garlic powder. Shake Worchestershire sauce really well. Drown the pork chops in it. Take that dish w/the marinading pchops and put in frig (NOT freezer, dummy) for about an hour.
Boil a pot of water and put X-number (4 should do it) ears of corn in.
Then, put pchops in single layer in big frying pan over medium heat. Cover. Cook for 5-7 minutes on each side. You'll know one side is done when it is a nice dark brown, but nOt black color. Flip the pchops at that point.
Eat.
Get some.
Thank MichaelD.
Never fails. This is one of my quick meals.
*EDIT*
While you're at the supermarket, pickup a bag of the premade salad. Italian is always a safe bet, and either a bottle of Italian or Ranch dressing. Salad as an appetizer always impresses the ladies. Guys like beer for an appetizer. Ladies are slightly more refined. Stop whining...you want to eat Thanksgiving Turkey right? You must first set the table.....
