Pretty much any of those will do. It's all just preference. I personally would try out the Arctic Fan 12 with S-FDB.

I'd get the higher speed Panaflo fan and if it makes too much noise, you just add a ceramic resistor from like Radio shack to it in order to slow it down a bit. The Panaflo fans give you the mostest air moved for the leastest DB's in exchange and they last and last.

Just go generic. If you can't come to a decision yourself you probably won't know the difference.

The silverstone fans are pretty good. FN121 or FM121.

These are also decent:
Aspire CF12S or L-UBL
Antec 75003
Aerocool Turbines
Logisys CF12OBL
Thermaltake A2029

dude i made this hovercroft from a comp fan and it's awsome.. it floats on my desk and is really a stress reliver, i can't move it away from the comp too much though. only 7 feet of cord.

Shoprite bag, balsa dowels + comp fan.

IF you search this forum for Akasa Amber several reviews will be found.
You might have to search the archieves too. I've done it far too many times for
others, so you'll have to do it yourself.

Do some reading on fans at SPCR

I voted for the Nexus. The Nexus fans are widely regarded as the quietest 120mm fans that also offer a high enough CFM rating to provide good cooling.

I owned one of the Nexus 120mm orange and felt it really didn't quite have the amount of airflow I wanted. It was quiet (22 dBA) but only has about 37 CFM of airflow. For my Stacker 810, I am considering the Scythe S-FDB 1200rpm or 1600rpm versions which has 49 CFM at 20 dBA and 63 CFM at 28 dBA respectively.

An alternative would be the Arctic Cooling fan, which also is a FDB fan, but is 1500rpm with 56 CFM at 24.5 dBA.

Those are the three I am currently considering, and might just go with the 1600 rpm Scythe, as I can always slow it down a bit.

Or, if you're willing to squeeze out that last bit of performance, a Papst fan.

Yo,, everyone,, i got my order delivered (2x arctic fan 12 and 2 nexus orange) They're inside a new p180. and OMG.. like,, holy crapper

I can barely hear anything.. at alll

and imo the arctic fans are better than the nexus. they're connected to a nexus fan controller and with everything on HIGH, the noise compared between the arctic fan and nexus orange is the same. But i can feel that the arctic fan is moving alot more air.

my comp is now a whisper....

and what was this talk about the door opening 270,, mine can only do 180,, wtf.. did i get a diff version of the p180???
