The vehicle is disabled if and only if you default on your payments. Otherwise, you are left alone and your privacy is respected.

However, in order to even get to use Win XP, you must have paid for it to begin with. So why is the privacy of a paying customer being threatened even though he paid in full before he even started using the OS?

His charity foundation gives away millions. When you pay for your software you're getting a licsense to use it, and when you install it, you're agreeing to the terms setforth by said company........i.e. you're basicly paying to USE the software or RENT it! That being said, I encourage you to go try and buy, lease, rent, or use anything of any real mean value these days without giving up quite a bit of vital info before you walk away with possession!
