The free kit was listed as $39.95: Soft case, charger kit (no mention of 4 batteries), mini tripod and lense cleaning kit. The camera has 2 NiMH, but my printout [EDIT: does] say charger-2 chargers?. Extra 5-30% sale ends today.

I just got the USB Sandisk reader/writer $29.40 shipped.

[EDIT]
They now have free ($7.95) shipping instead of the kit.

OK, please correct me if I'm wrong, but 800.com does have a pricematch policy of their own. AMEX will not BVG a site that does their own pricematching. Has anyone tried this yet? Any luck?

Thanks for the deal Peyton. The only thing is that the Free Accessory Kit is out of stock and didn't appear on my order. Has anyone found out if they are getting more of them? Did you get them to add it on to your order? Ah well, a sweet deal anyway.

Here are few links for that may also help

1)The direct link to the Fuji rebate from their site Fuji PDF link
2)The direct link to the Sandisk rebate of $20 if you buy the 128MB Flash Sandisk PDF link

Thanks again!

I not only got the shipping $3.95 knocked off, but added #2 4 packs of (8 total) 1800Ah and additional discount on same order, but not with Passport on the batteries. $58.86 for reader and 8 batteries shipped. They'll only charge to the Fuji charger max. Ah

MBAA18004 4-Pack of AA Rechargeable 1800mAh NiMH Batteries $18.95

800.com is once more offering the Accessories Kit with the Fuji 2600 along with free shipping!

They say the kit is backordered so they will ship it separately. Sure hope to get all rebates and the pricematch with my credit card company cause this is smokin' !!! Glad I held off an extra day, it was so hard

Woohoo! They shipped my $50 GC AND accesories kit today!

This deal turned out pretty good for me. $184 for a good camera and memory. ($134 if you count the $50 GC as money off). It's now even a slighter hotter deal now with free shipping.

Um...not $134...actually, the $184 in the first post of this thread already takes the $50 GC into account. Unless you did something different than the rest of us, $184 is your net cost on the deal.

-50 Amex Blue PM
----
$134 ... That's assuming nothing goes wrong with the Amex Blue PM thingy.

>>>MBAA18004 4-Pack of AA Rechargeable 1800mAh NiMH Batteries $18.95<<<

Hmmm...the description of the Monster NiMH batteries claims that they are the 'only' battery to have 1800mAh capacity. I know that GP batteries do have that same capacity. Anyone know if the Monster batteries are GPs in disguise?

Yes your math is right, and no you weren't the first to do this practice, but it simply doesn't make sense to subtract a gift card from the cost of the purchase.

Unless you can turn the gift card back into cash.

Or unless I can start paying off my monster credit card bill w/ merchant gift cards.

Sweet deal nonetheless.

Yep, your right ... It really doesn't make sense, that's why I said this first:

$184 for a good camera and memory. ($134 if you count the $50 GC as money off).

Gee, I thought a $50 GC was worth $50 for things I would use real money for, anyway.

...just can't say it has $0 value.

All my order were shipped. received 64MB smartmedia already.
camera, accessory kit, $50GC on the way, $60.00 MSN check confirmed email received. Great Deal!
I pricematched 800.com with AMEX a couple times and no problem at all, don't know how the new policy will affect on this one.

What's this about......"Monster/GP Batteries, 1800ah Capacity"? My Fuji's NiMH are the first I've ever had.

The other day I was wandering around Sams Club ( trying to decide if I was going to join ), and I noticed a NiMH Charger with AA batteries for $20.00. I know it came with at least 4 batteries, but I feel confident that it was 8 batteries. Now I will have to go back to Sams and check this out and read the fine print to see if the capacity is this "1800AH " you refer to. If it was 8 batteries & charger, then it's probably a real good deal. I'll report back as soon as I can get over to Sams. .....Just did a search of Sams online and can't find it, will have to go in and see.

Noone said it has no value.

However, it doesn't put money back into your pocket. Unless you feel that you would have bought $50 worth of DVDs from 800.com in two months (when the GC arrives) anyway, then I guess it does save you money.

I'm not trying to nitpick, just pointing out that too many people subtract the GC value from the deal cost to make the deal look more attractive.

It's like those misleading deal titles that say 60 GB for $75 shipped when it's more like $150 shipped and $75 MIR.

Manly:
I love to pick free nits. I wouldn't buy anything at CC, if it only had a GC. I bought there once and too many teeth to pull to get both rebates. The 800 GC shipped and will prevent $50 in credit card subtraction. That's future money not out of my pocket.

Than subtract $35 rebate, $60 MSN rebate, whatever Blue's PM is...I'm sending this $323 camera and memory back for a refund...which I didn't get yet either.
