One Drive 30GB Space

MS is now offering 30GB free One Drive Space to anyone who signs up or already has an account and logs in and enables the auto-upload feature for the camera roll.

MS is pushing it as extra space for your IOS 8 upgrade but apparently it works with Android devices too. I did it on my iPad.

Offer is only good until the end of September.

One wonders why they would tie the 15GB extra with automatic photo uploads ? I think they might be looking for something...

Either way, just upload 1 pic, and get 15GB free sounds good.

Yes, you can just turn it on once, upload 1 photo and turn it back off after you get the upgrade. I did this last year when you got an extra 3GB for free for doing it.

In light of the recent 'revelations' of celebrities and their pictures, you'd think people would have learned that perhaps it's not a good idea to just automatically upload your pictures to some cloud.......

Not a bad deal though, if you just upload one pic then turn the auto upload off and get nice free cloud storage.

It said that for me too but then I did get the full 30GB.

Ditto here as well - both the online portion as well as my Android app said I'd get 3GB for activating camera roll uploading but I got another 15gb for 30GB total.

I think there's a desktop app to synch folders too, right? I'll then just use this to backup all my real photos (non-phone)
