<for progress essentially everyone needs to reveal who they are, excepting for the wolf, of course, and any tactful liars>

But, for example, it would make sense for the trouble maker to reveal who was switched; the seer to reveal what was seen, etc.

Hi Townies,
I am a craftsman who lays bricks to construct brickwork, or who lays any combination of stones, bricks, cinderblocks, or similar type pieces.
Some people also call me by the term above with "Free" in front of the name. I tend to put out once very very drunk.
Someone thought it was a good idea to build a Naval vessel and put USS in front of my occupation. I bet there is a lot of good partying on that ship!
Also the village ladies use my kind of jars for canning their vegetables, jams, and jellies.
My occupation is also a town of the same name in the following US states: Michigan (x2), Nevada, New Hampshire, Ohio, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.

To wrap up this beautiful description of who I am I leave you with this joke.

How many Masons does it take to change a light bulb?

No one knows. It's a secret.

So me and Storma are still masons right? Who else has the power to switch us? Yes, I know the rules are in the OP but that's pages and pages in the wrong direction.

PenguinPower - ??switched with ElFenix
Charmonium - mason
mafia - ???
glenn1 - troublemaker
Krazy4Real - seer? if so, give us some results!
Chiropteran - insomniac
Storma - mason
Bubbleawsome -vanilla townie
ElFenix -?? switched with penguinpower
JujuFish - ???

So, if all claims so far are true, PP or ElFenix, if either one started out as a wolf, you now know the other guy is a wolf, and you can tell us and we vote him and win. Also of note, Jujufish and mafia haven't posted yet, which might be indicative that they are team evil- waiting to see which roles aren't claimed so they can claim those roles. ElFenix also hasn't posted, but because his role was swapped with PP he doesn't know his own role anymore, but he knows PP's role.

So jujufishy/mafia, WHAT SAY YOU? K4R, what did you saw? PenguinPower & ElFenix: do you have information that can lead to us immediately winning?!

I am so confused. Am I supposed to reveal my role?

Thanks for working through this different format! Yes, in this one you say what role you got, unless of course you intentionally lie (which is where the game's complexity comes in). But everyone should claim a role of some kind.

You were the drunk. Your role got traded to penguinpower. Then, as drunk, he swapped with one of the cards in the middle- which we know are a vanilla and a werewolf.

So, 50% chance that penguinpower is a wolf, if all of the above data was truthfully given.

If we don't get something better, we have a 50% shot of winning by lynching the penguin.

Between mafia, juju, and elfenix (based on penguin's role pre swap) one is the other wolf, one is the tanner, and one is the minion. If we vote one of them randomly, we have a 66% chance of losing. I don't think any of them would reveal their role.

I'm going to vote penguinpower, and I suggest all town do the same. 50% chance of win is likely the best we can get.

Beware of any claims from this point on- the tanner could claim to be a wolf or fake slip it so he gets lynched and wins, or the minion could do the same to give a win to his team.

Actually, dammit, cancel the above. I forgot there are three cards in the middle, and the seer only gets to see 2 of them, so there is an additional unknown there. All my percentages are off. It may or may not still make sense to lynch penguin, but I'll have to think about this in the morning when I am not so tired.

Edit: The other unaccounted for card is the hunter. I can't see any reason why the hunter would hide their role, so the hunter should come forward and help town win. If the hunter doesn't come forward, it could be the 3rd card in the middle.

My brain is too tired for this right now.

If drunk role card was shaped the drunk wouldn't know it and would still trade whatever was in front of him with a center card.

PenguinPower - ??switched with ElFenix
Charmonium - mason
mafia - Hunter
glenn1 - troublemaker
Krazy4Real - Seer
Chiropteran - insomniac
Storma - mason
Bubbleawsome -vanilla townie
ElFenix - Drunk -> means he is now a Werewolf, Villager, or ???
JujuFish - ???

Center cards: Werewolf, Villager, ???

That means a Minion, Tanner, and Werewolf roles are outstanding.

If Chiro can confirm to me that he knows my original role, then that means it's likely everyone is telling the truth and I know how we can ensure we win.

Hmm? How would I know your original role?

Anyway, with DixyCrat's rule clarification it doesn't matter much.

This is what happened, assuming all were truthful:

elfenix got dealt drunk, penguin got X. cards were swapped, so now penguin is drunk and elfenix is X, and then elfenix traded his X for one of the cards in the middle.

PenguinPower has the drunk card now. Elfenix has one of the center cards, which could include any of the outstanding cards other than the one penguinpower had.

With that information, I don't see a way to guarantee a win. Vote elfenix and we win if he got the wolf, or we lose if he got the tanner or minion, or vanillager. Vote no lynch and we might win if both wolves happen to be in the middle, but again there is a fair chance that isn't the case.
