Never mind the fact that it provides less power than the quality 480w supplies that Anubis posted.
It looks like the b@stard love child of a cold cathode and a Borg ship.

But hey, form over function; if that's what floats your boat.

you got to like the fact you can plug in the cables you need, and not have a mess.

when they make a better version that substitutes looks for performance, then i would buy.

Well the 12V line at 34A is not too shabby at all. The 5V line is a little under par though.

That's what I was thinking; assuming these specs are accurate (although that may be a BIG assumption), this PSU should be fine. It's *hard* to push 30+A on the +5V and +3.3V lines with even a high-end system (how many people need 200+W for their RAM, part of the CPU, MB, and PCI devices?), but it's not tough to push 20-25+A on the +12V line with a high-end processor, high-end video card (and definitely with SLI...), and a lot of hard drives. I'd be more concerned about the specs on that antec 550W that only has 24A on the +12V line.

Silent PC Review reviewed it, and basically panned it (at least as a "quiet" power supply). It passed their (fairly stringent, IMO) functionality tests, though. Unless I was absolutely loading a system down with drives and dual 6800Ultras (and/or dual/quad processors), for the price I'd rather have a Seasonic Super Tornado 400W (which runs significantly cooler and quieter), and even if I needed ~500W, the Antec NeoPower might be a better choice.

I like the cables and the color / flashiness myself, although I would want better performance from a PSU, depending on the system of course.

Any good high performance PSU's that look as good as this?
