Do people still watch this show? I stopped when it got too slow and repetitive when the prison started to fall apart.
They don't show it because, well, no one really cares. It would not add to the plot.
In the woods. With the zombie pope.
I don't get zombies.
Sure, it's the dead reanimated. But, the flesh / meat is still rotting. After, what, 1 month, the walking corpse will just fall to pieces.
Also, how does a walking corpse, who has been rotting for months now, still have the ability to rip a healthy human being in half?
I can understand an immediate break out and death of millions, but, things would go downhill (for the zombies) pretty quickly; http://www.cracked.com/article_18683_7-scientific-reasons-zombie-outbreak-would-fail-quickly.html
Somewhat explained in the show. The zombies don't "rot" at the same rate as the virus/bacteria that is animating the corpse is also so what it can to get the body functioning as long as possible and preserving it. So despite the lack of blood flow, the body isn't decomposing because the virus that made the body into a zombie is fighting off any other bacteria/virus that would consume/rot the body out for the most part.
They didn't go into much further detail than that and I doubt they ever will. The author of the comic books hasn't stated several things as he said the story line is suppose to be pure horror and not science fiction. He doesn't think it is needed that the audience ever gets a full explanation.
