Yeah I could see wiping being the biggest issue. I really don't know how people did it before toilet paper. I just went for a poop a while ago and used about half a roll. When it comes out with the same consistency as wet drywall compound it takes a lot to get clean up there.

I guess people just ate way more fibre. If you can get it to come out as a nice slick log it stays pretty clean. I doubt the people in Walking Dead have access to much sources of fibre though.

Yeah like in Under The Dome. They have no running water, so can't flush toilets and even if they could the filtration plant is probably outside the dome so the sewers would just clog up and over flow, so where are they pooping and why isin't there a huge pile somewhere?

You have not missed anything really. They were going to Washington with a purpose because they were convinced that's where the cure could be found. That turned into a red herring, but they're still on the road hoping to find something, they just don't know what. They're wandering around doing dumb stuff so they can wind up in some sort of peril that they should have seen coming and avoided with ease.

Why wouldn't there be a lot of TP around? Most of the people in America are dead. TP will last a very long time. If they were to go into a supermarket I'm sure they could find enough TP to last a few months.
