A person in one of my classes fell asleep and his phone started going off. He slept through it and the phone was sitting right on top of his bag so the prof just walked over and answered it. The half of the conversation that we could hear went something like this...

"Hello, this is Billy's phone, who am I speaking with?"
"Billy's mother? Why hello, I'm Billy's physics professor"
"Well, you see Billy couldn't answer right now because he's sleeping"
"No, this is during class."
"Oh, you're paying for Billy's tuition? I agree, you might want to talk to him about what that money is for"
"It's been nice talking to you, and one more thing, please ask Billy to turn off his phone during class"

I think you need to understand Latino culture. They're incredibly playful, this is my experience anyway, having known quite a few of them. They're just always up to the same shit, the girl probably enjoyed being hit on, but put on an angry face just because.

Yeah I've also had professors (3 years ago) threatening to kick the crap out of a student if they didn't get out (they were talking and didn't shut up even after the professor said to be quiet). That professor was hella ripped, so the students did as they were told
