Online Banking Software

I'm not talking about online banking, where you can see your accounts.

What I am looking for is something that I can use to keep my bank records online. Like Microsoft Money or something similar, only online.

MSN Money is similar to online banking. It offers online connection to a bank account, and I don't want that.

Simply put, what I want is a website to keep my account records on.

Maybe I'm not understanding what you're asking for. Do you want to upload PDF versions of your paper statements?

All I need is something online (Then I don't have to put software on my PC) that I can use to type in my transactions to keep records (I would rather type them in instead of using PDFs).

The Google repository looks good - however, it would be a cold day in hell if I ever put my financial records in an on-line storage area unless they were seriously encrypted. Too many hackers out there.

I use MS Money for keeping my local records, and what I do is put the Money data file on an encrypted thumb drive and carry it with me. That way I can access my records on my desktop or my laptop when on the road, and they are not present in my computers. Oh, yeah . . . I have triple redundancy backup in Thumb drives.

But, an encypted data file stored at the Google site would be useful.

You can use https://docs.google.com if you want SSL. Your docs can't bee seen by anyone else unless you make them public.

You could do it on your own pc using Quickbooks ... I can't see any reason to upload your personal
finance files to a web site, even a secure one, as that could be breached.

Maybe it's just me, but isn't 'banking' and 'online' kind of a scary combo??
