Anyone got any good recomendations for online sports gambling or links to casino reviews?

I'm wanting to add some spice to my Sunday football games.

I saw this thread a few days ago when I did a search. I'm not a sports guy, though.

I have not tried it, but I read that you can easily make money at the large amount of online casinos that 'match' a certain amount of money. You simply put the amount of money in that is required fot the match and then play the designated amount of money to be able to withdrawl it. You simply play blackjack using the best odds. (a small % favoring the house) but most of the time that is only about 20-30 bucks and online casinos usually match a good bit.

bonuses are nearly worthless for the casual gambler nowadays. Many (most, I'd say) require a 10-30x playthrough now, significantly increasing the risk of ruin.

FYI - The House of Representatives just passed a bill that will effectivly ban online gambling. Let me see if I can find a link.

Here's one. It sounds like it's not going to get through the senate though because congress will be adjouring soon.

It will ban the use of credit cards through online gambling. You'll still probably be able to link up a bank account, but I think I'd rather buy a billboard in Silicone Valley with my SSN on it before I'd link any bank account of mine to an offshore gambling company.

i like casino on net because they gave me $250 for doing nothing... matched my $1000 with a $250 bonus. I bet half on red/half on black and withdrew the whole thing. This was before they figured that out and stopped letting you use bonus on roulette...

I use www.bodog.com for sports. I won 3/4 games this week so I won 38 dollars on my intial investment of 80. All together including the person I was betting with we intially put in 200 and came away with 287 plus a 20$ bonus.

I have one friend who started with 200$ this season and is up 800 in just a few weeks.

I just saw this five minutes ago... www.sportbookreview.com

Interestingly, as somebody pointed out on the osga forum, www.sportbook.com was recommended by osga, but was not recommeneded on another web site, which is www.sportbookreview.com. It seems like it's hard to trust any gambling business over the net. It's probably best to gamble from legal establishments in America, such as Las Vegas. Logically, of course, I'm sure there are at least one or two legitimate gambling business out there on the internet. It would not surprised me if there are at least a few business folks that do want to run a real business of running a casino.

Anyway, if you do gamble over the internet, it's probably a good idea to have several accounts among different casinos, so that if one goes down, you can still rely on the other casinos. It is similar to the phrase of saying, "Don't put all your eggs in one basket".

Good luck.

I will not mention the client's name, but I know a client who did recently deal with a "supposedly" reputable online-casino (www.omnicasino.com), but wasn't too thrilled with the fine print. The promotion they offer is more than just a "gimmick", it's a downright "leech" and fvcked up system. I have posted a copy of the email between the client and their online-casino representative. The only alternation I did to the email here was change the actual email name to "client email". Omni is supposedly reputable (just look through the links I provided above).

In a nutshell of what the email corresponse below is all about: You deposit $150 you will earn a $75 bonus. Now your balance is $225. If you win $10 on Blackjack, you are still stuck with the maximum withdraw limit of $150. So, your balance is now $235, and let's assume you lose $85. Now, your balance is $150. You have effectively lost your promotional bonus money. On the next casino game you play, you win $20. Well, you are still stuck with the maximum $150 withdrawal limit. They won't let you withdraw money until you have "played" with $2500 (win or lose). You don't have win $2500, you just have to make a total of $2500 in betting amounts.

I know for a fact many online-casinos offer promotional deals, but I don't know if it's strongly similar to Omni, so I am not trying to "only" point the bad finger at Omni, but rather the fine print that might be found among most/all online casinos that offer promotional deals. But if you (or anybody else do) do decide to deal with online casinos, you better read the fine print careful and ask a lot of questions.

Below is the copy of the email (if you happen to be interested)

=============================

Hello ;

a) You deposit $150 and receive $75 bonus.

b) You can withdraw your original $150 at ANY time

c) You CANNOT withdraw your bonus OR any winnings UNTIL you have wagered/played $2500 ( you do not not need to win $2500, just play it)

I hope this answers your questions

(1)

The reason I am asking through email is because the web site does not provide good examples of when a client can withdraw money. It's always good to provide "story examples" and "what if" scenarios. It doesn't hurt to illustrate scenarios.

(2)

The reason I never mentioned "Omni" early in the email conversation is because I clicked on the support email link through Omni. Naturally, I would assume you know where my business is at (i.e., Omni). I had no idea you were responsbile for two casinos (or more).

(3)

My fault for mentioning $1500 instead of $2500. Thank you for pointing that out.

It is unfortunate the web site (fine print in Terms & Conditions) or any Omni representative cannot fully answer my simple questions.

It certainly seems impossible that I have to win enough "and" make a total of $2500 in wages to withdraw $200. No offense, but this does not seem like a genuine promotion. It's an obstacle promotion of some kind.

Once I get my permanent PIN number, I will withdraw my original deposit (and I will never deal with any online casinos again ever), but I do at least appreciate your prompt reply.

By the way, the wagering requirements for Omni are $2500 NOT $1500. We just assumed you were with Intercasino as you di9d not tell us which casino

Why did you give me the Intercasino link? I have an account with Omni. Well, I think it's nearly impossible to win up to $1,500 in order to withdraw, say $200.00. That just doesn't seem right. I know I cannot withdraw the promotional money before winning a grand total of $1,500. I do not enjoy the promotional money "at all" because it does not give me the chance to withdraw $200.00 if I win several bets.

But do you really understand what I am trying to say?

(1)

What if I did this? Let's say my balance is $225.00 (150 deposit plus 75 promotional money). I lose 75. Then I win 50.00. Can I then withdraw 200.00?

(2)

What if I did this? Let's say my balance is $225.00 (150 deposit plus 75 promotional money). I eventually win $100.00. Now, my balance is $325.00. Can I then withdraw $250.00?

Please answer my question for #1 and #2. BTW, thank you for answer my previous question promptly.

Okay, let me check for understanding....I need to make 20 times the amount of bonus before I can withdraw more than $150.00? If my bonus money was something like $75.00, then 75.00 * 20.00 = 1,500. So, once my balance is $1,500, then I can finally withdraw more than $150.00?

I wish Omni did not offer any promotional money to me because it seems like I can never reach the amount of $1500.00 from based on my original deposit of $150.00. That is a long ways to go from $150.00 to $1,500! It's a long ways to go before I can withdraw more than $150.00!!!

Is that right? Somehow that doesn't seem right. Am I overlooking something? Do I really need to win enough money (to $1500.00) before withdrawing, say $200.00?

Hello ;

At any time you can withdraw your original deposit of $150 (providing this is your minimum balance) If you want to withdraw more than this, then you need to meet the wgaering requirments. (20 times amount of bonus)

I understand I cannot withdraw the promotion money, so.... does that mean if I lose $75.00, then I can still withdraw $150.00? In other words, if my current balance falls from $258.50 down to $150.00, I can still withdraw $150.00? (150.00 is my original deposit, then you gave me something like ~$75.00 promotion money)

Wether the above is true or not, what does it take for me to withdraw more than $150.00?

Hello ;

The terms and conditions of the promotion state that you cannot withdraw the promotion or any winnings earnt from that bonus until the bonus requirements have been met. Therefore you can only withdraw your original deposit at this time.

Subject: cannot withdraw more than 150.00

Today, I deposited $150.00 and with the $75 promtion, my balance was instantly $225.00. After winning some games, my total balance is now about $258.50.

When I look at the screen where I can withdraw money, it says my maximum withdraw is $150.75.

I UNDERSTAND why I cannot withdraw $258.50 because of the promtional money, BUT my question is this: how come I can't withdraw $183.50? I earned (through pure betting) $33.50. So, I should be able to withdraw it. What happened?

Thank you for answering this question and all the millions of other questions I have had.

Alot of places require you to play double your initial deposit before you can withdraw any bonus money. So if you deposit 200 and get a 50 bonus, win 100 and lose 50, you could only get $250. $300 in account - 50 bonus, until wagering of $400 is made (double your initial deposit).

As for recommendations I like sportsbook.com very reputable, actually are on stock exchange. A good sports betting forum is capperstalk.com which is free.

Omni's promotion isn't a "leech". They require you to wager a certain amount in order to withdraw the bonus or winnings. Nothing wrong with that. Your client misread and misinterpreted their rules. Now their customer service answers weren't terribly clear but that's about the norm in the online casino industry. There are plenty of casinos out there that will gladly screw a player over, but Omni isn't one of them.
