Only a few more days until Premiership kicks off!

Okay, I'll admit it--I'm not a real EPL fan--in fact I've never watched English futbol before. I'm only doing this because Sports Guy suggested it and a few of my friends are following suit.

So I checked up on the team histories and decided early on that I would NOT support any of the big London teams (Arsenal, Chelsea etc.) but I definately wanted to support a team with a lot of history. So I decided on Everton--the ORIGINAL Liverpool club (screw the Reds!) Yeah, I know they haven't done that well lately but they're a good club with solid fans (supporters) and I like their uniforms.

So are there any REAL English futbol fans here? What teams do you support?

Real english futbol fans make Raider fans seem well behaved and calm.

since i am here in a Ameica i dont have to much of a chance to watch the games, so i never really became a huge fan of any one team. so i usually root for the underdog or whichever teams jersey looks cooler. i really dont care who wins i just love watching futball.

you need to get fox soccer channel, it's all i watch when school is in and im home during the day. usually 2-3 live epl games a week in the afternoons, and 2-3 on the weekends.

Don't worry, Chelsea's still licking it's wounds from being embarassed by a team of guys who's collective salaries don't compete with any one of theirs last Saturday. And on the topic of Spanish soccer, Real Madrid, second most expensive team in sports in the world, is probably fumbling for excuses after failing to beat a team last night whose goalie is paid $29,000 a year to play and is working a job besides playing professional soccer just to make ends meet.

FSC is the best channel ever. I love being able to turn on the TV at any time during the day and see soccer matches or soccer related programming.

I'm not into the EPL as much as Serie A.....but I'm going to have be this season since Juventus got relegated to Serie B because of the match fixing crap.

Any of you guys know of good sites to look at for news on injuries and whatnot? BBC Sport usually good? I thought I had a solid squad lined up, but then I found out Ballack, Rosicky, and Cech were all out for at least their first match with injuries that I didn't know they had. Stupid American sports resources not caring about soccer.
