I was the only one for Sicko. It was the first showing of the day, 10:00AM if I remember correctly.

There have been only a few, and never alone as I hate going to movies alone.

First one was Amos & Andrew way, way back when that came out. Was in the cheap theaters, just me, my friend, and some guy way in the back.

The best was Eight Legged Freaks with my best friend. We made SUCH fun of that movie, was such a blast.

I know there were others when it was less than 10 people in the theater including me and friends, but none of the titles leap to mind. :|

In college I dated a guy who managed the local theatre. We'd watch the movies by ourselves after closing time.

What I fail to understand is why in the wide wide world of sports do theaters provide such noisy food? I detest having to sit near popcorn crunchers, nacho chip eaters, and plastic bags ripping open.

How can you hear food eaters when there's 25 THX speakers turned up to max around you?

Haha, we were 8 total for that movie , 4 in my group and 2 other pairs ... 2 of them left a few minutes in, we stayed but man, what a piece of sh*t.

There was also a Myazaki (however you spell that) movie we went to see, they got the reel late so were the only 3 in the room and the reel was fudged for around 10 minutes at the start so we got free passes to another movie

I just went to see Knocked Up today at a 220pm show, and i was the only one in the theater. It was great...i've had a few movies where it's been me and the person i'm with, and that's it...or alone except for one or two other people...i love seeing movies like that. I saw Transformers it was me and one lady and her kid...and neither of them made a peep the entire movie.

Yup. I try to see movies during the week in the afternoon these days.

I went to an afternoon showing for "28 days later." My buddy and I walked into an empty theater except for one man. One overweight man sitting in the middle of the theater, with his shirt off.

I saw Digimon Evolution (I think?) back when it came out at a 11:30 showing with a friend, we had gotten out of another movie and were kinda bored so we decided to sneak into it.

It was empty except for us and we had a great time discussing the movie and making fun of it as we watched it.


We also used to cut our 6th hour in HS and jet over to the theatre to check out movies when no one was there yet. (His sister was an employee and got us in for free)
