It's not in the list on the front site, but if you log in and then go to "reimbursement request" it is in that drop-down list.

"PointClick does not reimburse for purchases made through all the sites in the Network. Choose from the list of Merchants in the Pull down menu below."

"Onvia/avenue a"

So if you need to stock up on some stuff from onVia, now's your time.

Here is previous quote :

Pls don't screw Pointclick on Onvia deal.
This is a great deal 10% off on Onvia,
what is so hard to click thru Pointclick
when you want to get the discount ?
(ok maybe you have to wake up early
6am depending on where you are, but
it is 10% off).
Some said that if you don't get thru
pointclick, they won't be able to claim
the reimbursement from Onvia, although
Pointclick probably won't get thru all the problem
not reimbursing Pointclick members (so Pointclick
got screwed, and if you all keep doing this, don't
be surprised if one day Onvia is no longer
listed in the reimbursement site).

Doing this, will help Onvia stays on
Poinclick and help US (the customers)
get the GREAT deal.
Onvia is one of the best online site.

I didn't know that there was a "time" you have to do it. But...if you read the rules on the reimbursement page, nowehere on there does it say you have to go through PC to get reimbursed. :Q

It's always on the reimbursement list. Apparently they won't honor your 10% rembursement unless you order through the link on the main page.

It does tell you when. This is taken from the rules:

Big Foot, the Loch Ness Monster?there are all kinds of legends. And now PointClick has one of its own. At the bottom of every Category and Sub-category page you'll see a legend with . These symbols will be placed next to every Merchant site listing in the Network to indicate the status of each site. The indicates a site where you can use money from your PointClick account to make purchases and receive reimbursement. And the indicates a site that you'll get paid for visiting.

The hundreds of sites in the Network are always changing status. PointClick receives a large amount of traffic and our Merchants have an amount allocated to spend with PointClick to pay you to visit. Therefore, we must monitor how much traffic we send to each of our Merchant's sites. We do this by setting a "cap" on how many visitors we can send each day. Once a site reaches its cap, it is removed from the Category list until the next day.

Now, however, we will be listing the site beyond its cap. During this time, you can visit the site and still take advantage of the additional 10% discount on any purchase. But, you will not receive payment for visiting the site. Only when listed sites have the symbol next to them will you receive payment for visiting the site.

To sum it up, you only receive payment when there is a symbol next to the merchant. This is only done through the Merchant list, and only for a brief period of time during the day.

Onvia is usually on the list from 6-10AM EST. I would recommend ordering soon...I dunno how much longer onvia will be on the list at all...i mean...people keep abusing it staying in the reimbursement section and getting reimbursals when it isn't on the merchant list.

They sent you the check or you are waiting for your check but at the top it says that your pending check should have that much? Big difference there.

Hmm...with so many ppls abusing the service
by Pointclick, I won't be surprised if Onvia
will be removed even from the reimbursement
list.

Please read my previous post for those
guys who keep abusing Pointclick.

I didn't even know you have to go through pointclick.

I order stuff from onvia all the time and just go to pointclick later and ask for 10%.

I always get approved and my check comes too.

That means you can still get the 10% reimbursement, but you won't get the "money" that PC pays you to visit a site they list under category. ( I think it's $0.05). That's how I interpret what they say.

That's w/ regard to the green circle... but the orange box is what marks a site "valid" for 10%... i think... i don't remember where I read it, but it is on their site somewhere.

I agree with Sitinh
It says 'Now, however'... Now being the key word. As if to say, right now you can get 10% off regardless of it being on the list, but you will not get paid to simply "visit" the site. Only for purchases. Shop away!!

Does anyone know how to log back out of Onvia to use the same coup twice? (diff cred card) It keeps assuming that I'm logged in.. tried deleting the cookie already

Inguyen: One of the symbols indicates you get money ($.05) for visiting the site and the other symbol means you can use your PC money to buy there. Any listed site can be used to get reimbursed 10% (unless it is not on the reimbursement list).

Sitinh is correct.

Just received my $53 check on the Sony yesterday, and I ordered it during the middle of the afternoon during a day in June. Pretty fast turnaround time on the rebate IMO.

I totally agree with CCC.
Please Do Not abuse Pointclick. Just link thru it and purchase your stuff there.
Somewhere in its website,it requires that you reimburse the purchase that you link thru their site. Basically this is how affiliate program working.

my original message and the reply below from Onvia:

I was hoping to purchase some items from Onvia.com. I have done so in the past when they were on your site. Now I only find them listed under the pull-down list of merchants on the reimbursment request form.

So, my question is, "Are ONVIA purchases still eligible for 10% rebates when purchased through Pointclick?" If so, how do I link the ONVIA site if there is no link on the catagory pages?

Thanks!

Sincerely,

XXXXmeXXXXX

Hello,

Thank you for your email.

Onvia.com is a reimbursable site, however, Onvia only appears early mornings at 6am (MST) and you will have to purchase while its on the site.

Onvia will reappear in the morning in Computers.

Sincerely,
PointClick Customer Support
