very rarely do you get sick that fast (undercooked chicken will do it. but how you can eat it considering the texture is way diffrent)


usually the quick ones are around 48 hour mark. most take a little longer



also: sueing is a waste of time. unless you still have the hamburger. there are to many ways you could get food poisening to be able to prove it was the resturant.

I think it was bad chicken, not undercooked. Tasted fine, but was served marsala which probably covered up any foul thing I might have otherwise tasted. The fking restaurnt closed the next day. I think I got the last chicken they had sitting in their back room. Bastards.

It was still way too soon for that to have been what made you sick.

People often get a stomach virus days earlier, and when they start showing symptoms they blame the very last thing they ate.

My stomach ballooned into a rock hard bubble a couple hours after the chicken. I threw it up and felt incredibly better, no problems the next day. The restaurant closing too much of a coincidence too.

You said the food tasted fine. Do you realize that for bacterial toxins or chemicals to be strong enough to make you sick the food would have tasted very bad?

I understand you're trying to justify your opinion that it was the chicken that made you sick, but you have to understand that it is very unlikely that was the culprit.

Food with bacterial toxins can taste perfectly normal, it doesn't take a lot. Not only that, the food can be well cooked and still cause an intoxication as some toxins are heat stable.

Depends on your immune system. For example, I grew up playing in the dirt and eating stuff off the floor so I could probably eat fresh feces and be fine.

I had food poisoning that lasted 9 hours from 12am-8am in the morning when I ate a raw burger from In-N-Out. It really depends on your age and your immune system on how your body will react. If you're young, you should be fine. I would suggest eating bananas to get fiber in your body so you can poop it out. If you don't get better go see a doctor.

Days. At least 48 hours for some food poisoning, as many as 7 days for others.

The bacteria needs to inncubate and multiply. That takes time.

FYI it's the same for viruses: The common cold takes 4-7 days, the flu 4-7 days, stomach viruses also take 4-7 days.

There are some micros that result in food poisoning within as little as 15 minutes of ingestion. These toxins can have little to no effect on the taste of the food.
