I have lived in New York for the entire time you mention and you are insane. New York is blowout victories for democrats time and again.Well as I mentioned before.. New Yorkers clearly didn't want a major progressive city and over the last 4 years I've seen a massive shift in immigrant communities turning away from dems to GOP.
Like almost all candidates on the GOP candidate list are immigrant asians/ blacks/ latinos.. because their shops are getting victimized by the no cash bail and criminals just mugging their shops at will and police not being able to do anything.

The New York Yankees ownership are MAGA (Hal Steinbrenner, Randy Levine, Brian Cashman), so it's not surprising they would lend YS to Trump for a day, probably when the team is off-day or on the road.
