I ordered one, we'll see if it gets cancelled.. I have an older Hannspree I bought about 5 yrs ago for $300 and I have had no issues other than a weaker HD tuner compared to other tv's in the house.. Cable box fixed that issue.. Need one for the family cabin, this will do nicely..

Gonga deal. I have the smaller ST289MUB 28" that I like very much. The panel is actually 1920 x 1200 though.

With the recent influx of cheaper panels from the newer factories in asia 199 32 inch 720P tvs will be the norm in the next year.

Man I paid $428 for a 32" 720P Olivia POS from a going out of business Circuit City a few years ago and it's the worst damn TV I've ever owned. But it was cheap at the time but this is just crazy.

Last year I got the Emerson 32" LCD at Walmart for ~190 during Black Friday. Still working and the picture is fine for a bedroom.

I think I have that same TV. My dad snagged it on a BF sale from K-Mart a few years back for 300 something. I think its OK, except I hate how the power light is on when the TV is off...I actually called tech support.

don't know if it's the same for all Olevias, but
menu -> setup -> led settings -> off turns it off for good on mine

if power to the unit is lost and then restored, the light comes back until the tv is turned on/off again
