If its not too far out of your way, you may want to check stock in person. All the locations around me were grayed out as well, but they had 3 on the shelf when I got there.

Do you guys think it's worth selling a 8800gtx and getting 2 8800gt's in it's place?

I game at 2560x1600 whenever possible with 2xaa and 8xaf in most games (except crysis of course).

Picked mine up today for about $225 after tax with the 12% off coupon. Just installed it and about to see how everything runs. Should be a nice upgrade from my x1800XT.

For the record, I called my location last night and they didn't have any, but expected a shipment that night and told me to call back in the morning. I did, they had 4, and they held one for me until I could get there after work.

Managed to pick one up myself here in Denver, now I can cancel my Dell order and not have to worry about that garbage anymore. Fortunately the clerk was really cool and just gave me 10% off when I asked if I could come back later and get the coupon applied.

Anyone know how the original (old) coolers are on these? I think all BFG cards use the old coolers right? Im worried about the noise of these things. : / I havnt opened mine or installed it yet but.......Maybe I should go with evga that uses the newer cooler instead.

i only hear the fan when the computer starts up, i'm using ntune and have the fan running at 50% and i still can't hear it

Woke up at 8 this morning and checked bb.com. 2 of the local stores were now flagged instock.

Went to the closest but they were out. Guys working there said the inventory system had placed an order for more and a wrong setting may have been made.

They called the other which did have them and put one aside for me. Headed over, walked by the shelf first, 4 still sitting there. Went to the counter and grabbed mine. Now going home with a 8800gt for 219 OTD.

Well, went to a BB at 9am this morning that the site claimed had them. The shelves were bare so I went up to a BB employee and lo and behold he had one in his hand. Seems he was looking for the other 5 that came in shipment in the morning and the one he had he was holding for someone. Him and another employee looked for about 5 minutes came up gave me the one they were holding and said they would keep looking and hope that they find them by the time the other guy gets to the store. Snooze, you lose, I guess. Used my 12% coupon, out the door for $224!

Dang I'm the only one without a success story. 5 were supposed to arrive this morning, but the truck got delayed or something. Couldn't even get a raincheck because "the system would not allow it to print." Now all I can do is pray to Santa that Dell will ship my MSI on the 20th.

Well not sure if this is good or bad but I placed an order w/Frys last nite for the BFG at $279, 303 out the door and they just confirmed today that they have it waiting for me. I called BB today since I see the same card available for $237 but they cant seem "to find it" . I know if I hold out (god only knows how long) I can get it for less but man this is ridiculous...

I returned the mail order card, and bought one with the coupon. The cashier gave me 12% off even though I don't have a Rewards card! Lost out on the $6 shipping charge, so total cost for me was $230 +fuel.
