i know it stands to reason from the numbers but what about true performance of the ti200 vs the 3? plus at least you know what brand you are getting with the 2!?

Hmm... you guys think this is a decent upgrade for my Pentium III 700@980mhz? I'm currently on a Geforce 2 GTS and i dont have much money to spend. Is it worth it to get this and hold me over a little longer? Or just stick with my gf2 :-/

GF4 TI > GF3 TI500 > GF3 > GF3 TI200 > GF4 MX > GF2

I think performance-wise, Radeon 8500's are comparable to TI500's, and Radeon 7500's are comparable to GF4 MX's. New Radeon 9000's are somwehere in the GF3 range. Of course, it may be subjective since it's Radeon's typically have better quality at high resolutions and 2D.

All in all, this is a huge huge huge deal. This is HOT! This is a great upgrade for your P3@anything. At this price, I'd buy like 5 or 6.
