OOS: OEM 128MB 9800 (maybe Pro) is back at Compgeeks $129 + shipping

It's been posted in the past and it's back again. $129 + shipping. Card is clocked at 325/580 but supposedly can be OC-ed easily to Pro speeds. ATI OEM for HP is what it says in the description. Only a few available and they ran out fast last time.

Last time around, people tookthe product code from the back of the card and ran it through ATi website which said it was a 9800 Pro. YMMV of course.

Thank you GeeCee. I ordered. I've been waiting for a deal on the 9800 Pro but the 9800 isn't too far behind it. Anyhow I almost hesitated to find a coupon for the site but I decided this deal would go fast so I ordered anyhow. 129 + 6 ground shipping = 135. Nice find So who got the last one since when I checked there were 3, and then I refreshed and there were 2. And then I ordered quickly! Leaving 1 to a mysterious buyer so far.

UPDATE: I just called CompGeeks customer service because I did find a coupon for a discount at their site for 10% off and they gave me 15% off!!! By the way, the coupon is *blanked out* and it's for non-special items which this card qualifies for. 129 - 15% = 109.65 + 6 shipping + handling = 115.65 for the card Maybe someone else who ordered can call back and get the discount too.

Edit: removed the coupon because I just remembered the rules about coupon. anyhow, you can search of it

I think it is really funny that I decided to get a new video card (my aiw 8500dv just wasn't cutting it in Call of Duty) and so I have been scanning these forums looking for a good deal, I finally decided to buy a 9800se with the 256bit memory and then, while this was being posted and everyone was buying this card (I even knew the code for 10% off) I was purchasing a saphire 9800 pro at Newegg for $204 (I talked myself into the 50 dollar difference between the 9800se and 9800pro). Oh well, you win some and you lose most.

EDIT: Took the HSF off mine; it's an R350 core, not R360 (Hey, a guy can hope right?). Core is extrememly smooth; the HSF wasn't nearly as smooth. A little sandpaper took care of that though.

I bought 5 last time and I got 3 pros and 2 non pros. The pros had gold metal pins holding the hs and the non pros had black plastic pings holding the hs. Check that and you will know which is pro and which is non pro. By the way the one of the non pros oc better than the pro ones go figure

I had that in my cart yesterday....when i realized there was 1 left i figured a few reasons why they would only have 1 left...
1. it was a non pro and somebody returned it.
2. it was broken and somebody returned it.
needless to say i took it out of my cart after 20 minutes of processing my decision
