Just a heads up, I am still waiting for my rebate check from a 40 gb drive. It has benn in status "Your rebate is valid and your reward is scheduled for fulfillment. Please allow 10 to 15 days for mail delivery. Thank you. " for like, 2 months
Thanks! I did it too. I doubt if they meant this to happen.Originally posted by: seatidex
I called staples 1-800 number and was credited back $10 to my account. Paid me $10 to have a usb 2.0 card. This is a hot deal.
Well you've two choices: either you can wait until you need one and then pay for it, or you can get it now for free and keep it until you need it. A no brainer if you can afford to be out the $40 for 8 weeks.Originally posted by: dongky
my local store has lots of these. i didn't pick one up 'coz i don't really need it.
what are the devices currently using USB2.0? only digital cameras, scanners, ext. HD's?
If you ordered this 11/29 for $49.99 then ring Staples (1-800-3STAPLE) and get them to knock $10 off. This means you get the card PLUS $10.

4-port USB2 PCI Card. Go to Staples.com and search for SKU 479858. It's $39.94 - $40MIR. Free shipping. OOS at the moment tho, but...

If you used a coupon,I wonder if it'll be approved as rebate form says usual can't be used in connection with any other offer, promotion, etc.

Anyone know if the packing slip is ok to use for a Staples rebate?
The day after I ordered it the price on the Staples website went down to $39.99. Even though it was OOS they still knocked $10 off when I asked for it. I had used a $10 off $50 coupon which they let stand.Originally posted by: Jack159I still dont know how people are getting 10 dollars back, as I dont see the card for less than the 49.99 price....
Yes. Either the packing slip or a Staples.com printed order confirmation/receipt is acceptable for rebate claims.Originally posted by: BobSnob

It seems the deal is back - the card is FAR this week at Staples. Even though the ad gives an impression is free when purchased with a hard drive, the rebate form lists no such condition. So go and grab one now, with a $10 off coupon you actually make $10!
