Open Enrollment time - what are you spending for insurance as a % of gross?

I pay $92 for family medical coverage, $1.30 for vision, and $5.25 for dental per week. We get paid per week and is deducted every week. $20 co pay. 4 night and 5 day hospital stay for our latest child, was only $20 out the door. Our $1500 yearly deductible was met, he was born in Dec. We have very good insurance compared to others in the area. Our short term and long term is free to us a well. Life insurance is also free, with the option to upgrade for a price, which I did at a price of $2.24 for week for an extra 100k.

For last weeks check of a total of $98.55 for insurance, that is about 2.5% of my gross check.

Are you still in the service and, if so, how many years to get tri care for life?

I pay 8% of my gross income for a family of four in Germany. Total household income is an unknown right now because my wife recently took over a store. It'll probably end being ~6%.

We don't pay anything for doctors/hospital visits or medication. Vision and dental are extra though. We pay about 50€ a month for insurance which covers that stuff.

Health coverage here works like a tax though. The more you earn, the more you pay.

My dad visited us once and had to go to the hospital. He saw a doctor and had a blood test. I think he also got some meds. When it was over the bill was like 35€. My parents were blown away.

$37 per two week pay period, pretax, up from $34.70. I'll also be contributing another ~$112 per pay period to my HSA to max it out after my employer contribution. Well under 1% of gross.

Who knows how much I'd pay for something if I actually went to use it for something ... I think max out of pocket is like $2500? No idea if that means I'd actually only pay that much.
