Craig calls anybody who disagrees with him an idiot or a liar. I'm simply respond to people in the manner in which they respond to others. Someone who presents their ideas respectfully gets my respect in return. Someone who is simply an asshole gets my scorn. It's as simple as that.

I have sifted through the feedback provided by the community in this thread and assembled a pareto of the results.

Some of the categories are redundant, for example bigotry has always been verboten as are the excessive and egregious personal attacks, so those categories and weightings really ought to be subsumed into the "More consistent enforcement of rules" category.

We can't really use the weightings to reflect community priorities given that it was not a poll and people may have elected to not "+1" previously stated feedback.

I will leave this thread open another day in case folks still want to get in some last minute feedback. After which I will close this thread and open a new thread with a poll for voting so as to better hone in on the community's priorities and concerns.

Misleading thread titles is another issue that needs to be address. and to be fair i have seen the mods slap hands on very blatant distortion of the title that is flat out trolling.

I think that the overall interaction and moderation is ok for a politics and debate forum.

Sometimes the moderation takes a heavy cultural-based subjectivity tone, which I think may be a minor factor that leads to a poor showing of minorities on this forum compared to the overall forum demographics.

There is always a repression of the minority by the majority; even if it is an unintentional assumption norms and values.

If you have an issue with the name of the articles take it to the Journalist's that wrote them.
