I have a Dlink 713P router that is out of warranty and the wireless connection has disappeared. I think this commonly happens with this router and is often caused by the fact that the wireless card comes loose internally.
Once I talked to a technician at Dlink and he suggested that I open it up and reseat the card, but he admitted that it would void the warranty, so I RMAed it. Now the replacement has the same problem.
Has anyone opened up one of these before?
I have the "new" model in the plastic two-tone case with the removable antennas and can't seem to find any screws or clips to get the case open.
I know that some people hack these to convert them to Linux routers, but I can't see how to get into it.
Any help or links woud be appreciated.
