Openions/Reviews about RX 480 Red Dragon 8GB

Hi everyone

It seems that Powercolor has a pretty new and actually cheap RX 480 8GB model, that is using the RX 470 cooler. This card has a very good price at some German retailers and I would wish to get some more details befor buying.

So... anyone has any experience with this card, or there is any reviews/info on the net (I don't seem to find anything).

Also, I am a little bit worried by the fact that it has the same cooler as the RX 70, that has a lower TDP.

I think one of the reason its cheaper is because it uses lower rated vrm components compared to the reference model or even other brands but its still ok for most users, just not hardcore overclockers.

The vrm rating doesn't put me off unless its not actively cooled(has thermal pad), its the 3 fan design that I don't like - more fans to fail.

In fact there they "tricked" you - as RX 480 Red Dragon is not the same thing as the RX 480 Red Devil.

As you can see, the Red Devil has a bigger cooler, while the Red Dragon has the same cooling as the RX 470 Red Devil, which is why am actually searching for some reviews of this card.
The price is interesting (at least in Germany) but I am afraid that this won't be the optimal cooling solution for this chip.

Nevertheless, a review would be great - or at least the opinion of an actual owner.
