Changes since Opera 11.51
Display and scripting
Fixed
Network
Fixed
Security
Fixed
Nothing exciting. Just downloaded it.
By the way if anyone was curious this is supposed to be the last bugfix build before Opera 12. Opera 12 is supposed to feature full hardware acceleration on all OS through OpenGL: http://my.opera.com/desktopteam/blog/2011/10/13/introducing-opera-12-alpha
Hardware acceleration through DirectX (Which is how almost every other browser does it at the moment as I understand it.) is not in the snapshot builds yet.
The updated Snapshot of Opera 12 is here: http://my.opera.com/desktopteam/blog/2011/10/20/hardware-acceleration-fixes
That blog linked earlier allegedly has a huge memory leak on Windows.
Display and scripting
Fixed
- Adjusting volume on a YouTube HTML5 Video causes freeze
- Fixed a non-exploitable bug which allowed injection of untrusted markup into the X-Frame-Options error page, as reported by Masato Kinugawa.
Network
Fixed
- Crashes when downloading via BitTorrent
Security
Fixed
- Fixed an issue where manipulating fonts in SVG could allow execution of arbitrary code; see our advisory
