I used to use Avant Browser but switched to Opera as it's basically a more polished version.

I like both Avant and Opera better than Firefox.

Opera has always been one of those black sheep browsers. Works just well as FF, much better than IE6. But, a black sheap none the less.

I'm glad they finally came around. I've been using Opera for a few weeks and it's pretty good. There are some websites that don't respond well Opera, but FF takes care of that.

I add my thumbs up for Opera also. I got this a few weeks ago when there were postings here about it being free for a limited time to celebrate their anniversary and have been using it since. I agree with the previous poster, Chizzle, in that a few sites don't respond properly but between Firefox and Opera I can view 99.9% of the sites I visit. There are just a very few that INSIST on IE6 but that's rare. Opera is definitely worth it. I have to say I don't like their e-mail, though. I use Thunderbird.

When is the official PalmOS version of Opera going to be released? I know there's a foreign version floating around, but it's a bit rough around the edges.

Been using it here and there for a few weeks. I like it, but it doesn't stop me from using firefox. Great to use on older machines, doesn't take my PIII 450MHz box that long to open it, noticably faster than firefox. I still use firefox on my main rig, but Opera is worth checking out.

Opera is the best. The wand for passwords instead of cookies, the mouse shortcuts for practically everuything you do, the many functional operations to add or subtract components... FTW.

Mouse shortcuts are the best. You will find yourself missing them when you use Opera, and then try to use FF or IE.
