opinions on Marble Slab Ice Cream

we have one here in London and its the only one in Ontario. I have never heard of them before but it looks interesting. I was interested in getting some opinions about their products and what-not.

So fill me in.

It's awesome...they have one in Southpoint Mall in North Carolina.

BTW, for those of you who don't know, it's pretty much the same type of place as Cold Stone Creamery. Both are very good.

I dunno, we had one in Madison. Now I'm in Memphis, and I don't know where the closest is. Of course it's more expensive. There's a little more elbow grease required for making a coldstone treat.

Coldstone is worth it.

Have you ever been to Coldstone? This is where they got their idea from, Marble Slab is the original.

As for their stuff, its really wonderful is you get a bunch of stuff mixed in with it. It's expensive and not something you would want to get all the time, but if you are in the mood for a premium brand of stuff and want to treat yourself to something nice, then it's well worth it.

I can't get cinnamon ice cream with a Butterfinger mixin at the grocery store.

For me it's about quality, not quantity.

Yep. That's about it. And it's very mediocre too. We have this place called Handel's here- OMG, their vanilla ice cream is SO vanilla-ie that you get vanilla breath after eating it

actually, marble slab is just another one of the imitators... it was invented by steve herrell (of herrell's fame)

Everytime I have been to Coldstone's I have wondered why anyone eats there, because the ice cream is substandard and expensive. :thumbsdown:
