I'm considering setting up a wireless network for 5 computers, of which two would be wireless. I need a router to share a cable modem between them all.
My question is: Would it be better to buy a Wired Router + Wireless Access Point or just to get a wireless router?
Of these options, which would be better as far as reliability and does anyone have any suggestions as to what brands to use for either? I think I'm probably going with Orinoco NICs (one USB, one pcmcia). They have a deal where I can get the NICs bundled with their RG-1100 router which I would have to plug into a wired router to give me enough connections for my other systems. The wireless router I've kinda been looking at is the SMC Barricade. A print server built in is nice, but not a necessity.
