Now streaming on Peacock if you were roped into subscribing to watch a NFL playoff game and forgot to cancel.
Edit:
Re-watched Oppenheimer over a couple nights; obviously it's going to win a lot of Oscars. In a way, the home experience is better than IMAX because the acoustics aren't rattling your gray matter. And either my memory is even worse than I thought, or at the theater I dozed off a few minutes as they were prepping the Trinity test.
One thing I noticed is there are a lot of characters (scientists) all over the place. If you don't know them going in, it'll be overwhelming until you study it later. The physicist Richard in the film is CalTech's Richard Tolman. Not Richard Feynman, who was a young grad student at the time, and appears somewhere in the film but I don't recall when.
Finally, Peacock Premium is NOT an ad-free tier. However for movies it seems they play a long ad segment (nearly 3 mins) at the beginning, which you can ignore. Then no ads during the feature. Even if you hit pause and walk away for a while, it won't greet you with an ad when you resume.
