Opteron 144 CABNE 0544 EPMW

I just recieved a Opteron 144 CABNE 0544 EPMW, does anyone know what are the max overclocks at stock voltage on this stepping? Or how it compares to the other steppings?

Just swapped my 146 for the same Opteron 144 CABNE 0544 EPMW, and it maxed out my motherboards FSB at 300MHz like it was nothing.
I did raise vcore to 1.5v, but don't think I had to.

What's the ambient temperature in your house? Those are good temps.

i just got my proc from tiger and it just so happened to be one of these stepping, just i hoped for, too bad i dont have thhe cash for a mobo and vid card yet for it. just thought i would get it before they arent avail. looking for 2.6 ghz, up from 1.8, and for 169 bucks its a steal

Usually hot Florida home, but a cold front came through, and temps dropped to upper 60's to low 70's so we had to use our heat (no joke, we have birds). Now it is a chilly 74F during test session. Athenatech A100BB mATX case with cover off.

Had Opteron 146 CABYNE in prior, and it showed 50C/35C.

You should be almost guarenteed 2.6 GHz. Hell my CBBID winchester 3000+ does 2.6.

Should I pop it in now? I won't have much time to play with it before work in a couple hours, but it's tempting...

so far mine is prime stable with 1.5v @ 2.5 stock hsf 42c.

Just ordered a 144 from Mwave to go with an Asrock S939 Uli M1695 board that I just ordered now. Glad I was able to get one, as these Opteron chips are just disappearing from retail channels.

yep load temp.
not sure about this stepping compared to others, when we get a bunch more results it will be nice to see how many people can get this to oc well.

im using one stick of the G.Skill dual channel 2 x 1 GB ddr400 ZX because the other stick was DOA.

CABNE is supposed to be a good revision... I'll probably install and prime this weekend, maybe tomorrow if I have some time.

I managed to do 2906mhz @ 1.55v SuperPi stable. Would do Prime at about 1.6v, but I didn't like being that high. Anyway, here's a screenshot.

Thats amazing that we are seeing these overclocks on stock cooling as well. I'm debating a stick of RAM now, as the G.Skill stick looks like a viable choice for the Asrock board. Anyone give this a thumbs up or thumbs down ??

From what I've read, that G.Skill is a nice product and clocks pretty good for the price. The best "performance" ram for your money. That was the set I was getting originally, but I decided to get the 2x1g ddr500 instead.
