Hey guys,
I had my Opteron144 completely stable @ 2.8GHz with 2x512 of my OC PC3200 CAS2 REV2 DDR. However, I bought another pair of the same RAM and now the computer shits itself whenever the RAM is over DDR333 (166MHz). I have heard from several sources that the Opterons are no good for over DDR333 when you have more then 1GB of RAM - is this true?
If not, what can I do to get some stability? My f*cking ASROCK 939DualSATA2 board has dividers for the RAM down to 2:1, so teh DDR is @ 100MHz when the FSB is @ 200, but from there oon up it increases at a 1:1 ratio, so when I am @ 266FSB I am @ 166MHz FSB, the top end of stability for the RAM...
Any ideas?
Thanks!
