Dang, this makes it even tougher now.. that's a good point, I wasn't aware that the 4mb cache 2.4ghz Conroe would only be $316...factor in some overclocking and you have one heck of a chip.. 2.6conroe > 2.8fx60...and who knows what a 2.8ghz conroe will do... for those even lucky enough to get 24/7 stable on 2.8ghz for the opteron. I'm not threadcrapping, just thinking things over, and have a good chance of buying this.
